I think it's totally fine for Glam not to have FOCIL. To me FOCIL matters for “defense” and further deepening the “Ethereum is #1 CR, period” moat. There’s an “offense” reframe of FOCIL which would make me EXTRA excited for it around liberating hardware requirements for validators because CR would come from e.g. 1 ETH FOCIL-only nodes. So I am indifferent, and fine w/ descoping to focus on “offense” like BAL & repricings.

Interesting turn of events on the latest #Ethereum developer call, ACDC #169: Developers agreed to reject EIP 7805 (FOCIL) from #Glamsterdam. They also agreed to brainstorm ways over the next two weeks to credibly commit to including FOCIL in the next H-star fork.
