Will the assets be received right away after I withdraw from another platform?

Why does the withdrawal platform show a successful withdrawal, but the assets haven’t arrived in my OKX account?

When depositing digital assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) to OKX, you may find that the withdrawal platform (or wallet) shows the withdrawal as successful, but the assets have not yet arrived in your OKX account. This may be due to the following reasons:

Completing a withdrawal on the withdrawal platform does not mean the deposit will be credited to OKX immediately.

Crypto deposits involve three steps:

1. The sending platform (or wallet) initiates the withdrawal.

2. The transaction is confirmed by blockchain miners.

3. OKX credits the assets to your account.

Therefore, even if the withdrawal platform (or wallet) shows a successful withdrawal, your assets may not yet appear in your OKX account because the transaction is still awaiting sufficient blockchain confirmations. Only after the required number of block confirmations is reached, OKX will credit the assets to your account.

Why are full block confirmations required for deposits?

If the blockchain network is congested, confirmations may take longer than usual. OKX can only credit your assets after all required block confirmations are completed. Once credited, you will be able to view the assets in your account and use them for activities such as P2P selling.

Before contacting OKX Support, please check the following:

1. If the transaction has not yet completed all required block confirmations, please wait patiently for the confirmations to be completed.

2. If the transaction has already been confirmed on the blockchain but the deposit has not yet arrived in your OKX account, please allow some time as there may be a short processing delay. You may also contact customer support and provide your account details (email or phone number), the deposited cryptocurrency, and the transaction ID (it is generated by the withdrawal platform) for further assistance.
