Has anyone done any data-driven analysis of eip1559 tuning on chains faster than Ethereum's 12 seconds?
For example, Arbitrum uses the same 12.5% base fee adjustment rate but the chain is almost 50x faster than Ethereum
My theory is that while a 12.5% rate limit block-over-block is fine for mainnet Ethereum (which currently operates at 0.083hz, although there are proposals to speed that up e.g. EIP-7782), no one has really ever done a stability analysis (see Controls Theory) on this parameter
