The importance of onboarding is being forgotten 🤯 🧠 🤔 💭 This is a must read if you truly care about the crypto space + CTs importance ⬇️ 📚 In 2017-18 onboarding to crypto was huge as we saw a mass influx of normies come into the space with the price of the macro increasing (BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, ETC.) In 2020-2022 it was 100X that of 2017-2018 which caused memecoins and NFTs to take off as well as SOLANA. It has never been a more bullish time than 2023 til now for crypto especially with all the ETFs, pro crypto US President cabinet and all the good news in the media. However, I feel we’ve forgotten our duties to bring in new people, no one is here. We saw the macro go to all time highs like never before, but where are the all people? It seems fake, it seems like bank and government manipulation, without retail. At the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025 we definitely saw an influx of people especially with $SOL memecoins, but it’s almost like they got used as exit liquidity and they know it, so they all left, with lessons learned. Instead of leaving normies with a bad taste in their mouth due to this PVP crypto nature that we’ve all caused, let’s try and keep people here. We need to retain people in this space, if we had all the people that came in throughout the years or even retained 65% of those that left, we would be in much better shape. Let’s get back to onboarding and fixing the churn and burn rate of the crypto space, because I feel like much more have left than stayed.
